This year Sigamaq completed a decade of history. It has been 10 years of hard work, dedication, commitment and learning. And everything we are today is a reflection of the commitment of our employees and the successful partnerships we have established over the years with excellent customers and suppliers.
Our story began in a classroom, as a final project for a college course. The creator was Sérgio Antônio de Souza, who still heads the company today, and who, at the time, together with his classmates, created the Siga 6000 slicer.
Sérgio was overseeing the maintenance of compressors at an important bakery in the region and, observing their needs, created the slicer, which is still a highlight in the company’s production line.
In 2010, sales of the Siga 6000 slicer began and Sigamaq gained ground in the post-oven market in Brazil, participating in national and international fairs and exhibitions such as IBA – the world’s largest bakery fair – in Germany, and FIPAN – the largest fair in Latin America – in São Paulo.
All this intense exchange of information with customers has led Sigamaq to evolve over the years, creating all the machinery available today, and thus expanding its service to the whole of Brazil, with exports to Latin America and consulting for Europe and the United States.
And here we are! 10 years in the market, betting on Brazilian entrepreneurship. As a 100% Brazilian company, we seek to develop our machinery and prepare our team so that we can always innovate and make a difference in our market, thus aiming to be a national reference for the post-oven bakery equipment sector.
We thank everyone involved for this achievement and we celebrate this milestone with the certainty that the best is yet to come!
